Our Beech wood smokin’ chunks are great for smoking your food and give a Mild, Slight Nutty flavour. Beech wood is a light hardwood sustainably sourced from managed woodlands. Our Beech wood chunks are made by cutting the wood into small pieces approx. 4-10cm. Using our Beech wood chunks for smoking gives your BBQ or Smokin’ food a mild, slightly nutty, smoky flavour. Beech wood complements foods such as poultry, pork & fish. To use our Beech wood smoking chunks, you can choose to first soak them for at least 30 minutes or use them dry. If wet then be sure to let the wood drip dry for a few minutes before adding it to the fire, you want the wood to be moist, not dripping wet. Next, add our Chunks to your coals or use them on their own for that original wood BBQ with a prolonged smokin’. They will infuse the food and enhance the flavours. Smoking meat is only the beginning; after you have mastered the art of smoking meat, you can move on to smoking seafood, vegetables and even pizza!
To use our Beech smokin’ chunks, first soak them for at least 30 minutes.
